  5. sprinkle the french fried over the combination.
  6. cover the casserole with tinfoil.
  7. put the covered casserole into the iven for 30 minutes.

Absolutely Delicious Green Bean Casserole from Scratch. I don't usually like green bean casserole but this was very good--a perfect balance between the beans and sauce. It didn't get mushy at all. The lemon zest was a very subtle flavor. Add the beans, brown sugar and water.
